1. Affiliate Agreement
By signing up for the Krown Themes Affiliate Program, you indicate your acceptance of this Agreement and its terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, you should refrain from joining or participating in the Krown Themes Affiliate Program.
2. Program Overview
As a Krown Themes affiliate, you are eligible to earn a 20% commission on referred sales of our Shopify themes through the official Shopify Marketplace. Commissions are based on sales completed during your participation in the program.
3. Eligibility and Enrollment
To participate in the affiliate program, you must complete the application form and obtain approval from Krown Themes. We reserve the right to accept or reject any application at our sole discretion, and we may request additional information during the application process.
4. Affiliate Responsibilities
As a Krown Themes affiliate, you agree to:
Promote Krown Themes honestly and in good faith.
Use only promotional materials provided or approved by Krown Themes.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Not violate the intellectual property rights of Krown Themes or Shopify.
Not misrepresent Krown Themes or Shopify in any manner.
Adhere to Shopify’s own marketing Terms of Service.
Provide accurate business details. If your business details do not check out, we reserve the right to terminate your account.
5. Prohibited Activities
Affiliates are strictly prohibited from:
Engaging in any misleading, unethical, or illegal marketing practices.
Violating the Krown Themes or Shopify brand and trademark guidelines.
Using spam or unsolicited emails to promote Krown Themes.
Promoting Krown Themes on websites containing illegal, offensive, or inappropriate content.
6. Cookie Tracking and Limitations
Our affiliate program relies on cookies to track referrals. You acknowledge and agree that:
Cookies are used to track referrals, and if cookies are deleted, blocked, or not accepted by the user, we may not be able to track the referral, and therefore, you may not receive credit for the sale.
Cookies have a 30-day lifespan; referrals made after this period will not be credited.
Purchases must be made within 60 days after clicking the affiliate link for tracking to work.
Various environments and browser settings may affect cookie tracking, and we cannot guarantee 100% accurate tracking due to these variables.
7. Manual Referrals
Manual referrals must be recorded within 30 days after the purchase. Any submissions made after this period will not be tracked or credited.
Manual referrals are only accepted for themes purchased after the partner account was registered. Any submissions made for purchases made before the partner account was registered will not be tracked or credited.
8. Commission and Payment
Affiliates will earn a 20% commission on qualifying sales. Commissions are paid out:
After a holding period of 30 days to account for any refunds or cancellations.
On a monthly basis via PayPal. If your PayPal account is not functioning correctly, we will not process payments and may terminate your account.
9. Termination
Krown Themes reserves the right to terminate your affiliate status at any time for any reason, including but not limited to breach of this Agreement or engaging in prohibited activities. Upon termination, you must immediately cease all affiliate activities and remove any affiliate links from your websites.
10. Limitation of Liability
Krown Themes will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising in connection with this Agreement or the affiliate program, even if Krown Themes has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Modification
Krown Themes may modify any of the terms and conditions within this Agreement at any time at our sole discretion. Affiliates will be notified of any changes, and modifications will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued participation in the affiliate program constitutes your acceptance of the changes. It is your responsibility to review the Agreement periodically for updates.
